The minimum knowledge that children need to know for each topic have been put together onto one knowledge organiser. Click here to be taken to the different Knowledge Organisers for our topics.
Homework will be posted on this page every Monday.
It will be important that you find a good routine with your homework this year because next year at secondary school, you will receive lots of homework from lots of different subjects. The homework is your responsibility so try and complete it as independently as you can, but if an adult can help you when you get stuck please feel free to ask. If you are unable to find help at home, I am always happy to give extra help when it comes to homework but you must come and see me before the hand in date so that I can put some time aside to help you.
Maths: Homework will be set on Monday through the Mathletics website. One piece will be set each week.
Practice your timetables on TT Rockstars.
Reading: I would expect you to read at least three pages of your book every day and complete your reading record. reading records will be gathered in every Monday morning and checked.
Spelling: Practice the weekly spelling rule on the Spelling Frame website
We will have our P.E lessons on Monday morning and Thursday afternoon. Please make sure you have the correct P.E equipment for those days.
Our first two topics will be Yoga and Outdoor And Adventurous problem solving activities.
Please remember that earrings are not allowed to be worn during PE lessons and tape coverings are not allowed.
WLPS PE tracksuit is available to buy from Penn Sports.
SATs Companion: Homework will occasionally be set through SATs Companion in order to prepare for an upcoming English or Maths lesson. The logins for this website will be written in the front of your purple homework book.
It is important that you all master your times tables by the time you leave school so please log on and make sure you are practising them regularly.
