Success at the Football Tournament
Over the past two weeks, WLPS has sent a boys' and girls' football team to take part in a football tournament against 29 other schools in the Benfleet, Thundersley, Hadleigh and Canvey areas.
I am pleased to announce that both squads played so well that they got through to the final, finishing in second place. This is such an amazing achievement against strong opposition and we are all very proud of the children's attitude, commitment, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
Well done to everyone who took part.
