School Clubs

We are pleased to offer lots of clubs to the children over the year and we aim for every child to take part in something during their time at WLPS.

The clubs are run by school staff and the Deanes School staff. If your child is interested in joining a club, please complete the reply slip as soon as they become available and return them to the school office promptly. With some clubs, due to their popularity, we operate a first come first served policy. You will be notified if your child has been given a place on the club.

Behaviour

If your child does attend one of the clubs, we expect them to maintain the highest standard of behaviour so that everyone can enjoy the activities.

Collection

The lead teacher will see the children out at the end of the club via the main doors at the front of the school. We respectfully ask parents to wait outside until the end of the sessions.

Permission

If your child wishes to participate in any of the clubs on offer, a permission slip needs to be completed and returned to the school office.

Cancellations

If a club needs to be cancelled, we will endeavour to notify parents as soon as possible. One method of notifying parents is on the WLPS 'School Jotter' App. Please download the App and then sign up to the relevant club in the 'push notifications' section.
